The Watertown Area Boxing Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) located in the Adirondack Region of USA Boxing. Our boxing program teaches discipline and respect in a structured environment. We train, teach, and instruct youths and adults of all ages to perform to their highest potential in all aspects of life. In addition, we train competitive amateur boxers and those that are preparing to take it to the next level. We conduct healthy cardiovascular workouts for weight loss, firming-up or those who just want to live healthier. The Watertown Area Boxing Club works closely with at-risk youth to provide proper positive role models so that they may become better citizens throughout the community. Your support of our club allows us to continue to have a positive impact on our area!
Every year, The Watertown Area Boxing Club chooses deserving entities to donate a portion of the proceeds from Battle of the Badges to. This year, we have chosen to raise funds for Jefferson County "Shop With A Cop" program and the NNYK9s. All money raised stays local.
Jefferson County "Shop with a Cop" is a great program, that involves both local Walmart locations, Sam’s Club, and many other local businesses that donate to provide a unique opportunity for local children. Referrals are taken for children that have had a difficult year due to family finances, loss or some other hardship. Children that are selected are paired up with First Responders and taken to the Watertown Walmart in a parade of emergency vehicles to shop for Christmas with a Deputy Sheriff, Police Officer, Correctional Officer, Fireman, Armed Forces Member, New York State Trooper, or other emergency workers. With the help of our community, this program has been operating for over 20 years.
NNYK9s was established in 2015 to provide financial support to law enforcement K9s who serve or have served communities in Northern New York. A committee was formed, and the fund was created to help with our local law enforcement K9's medical, safety or protection needs that may not be covered by other agencies.
The Watertown Area Boxing Club is donating a portion of the proceeds from our Battle of the Badges 5 to help these two very deserving entities.
**ALL SALES ARE FINAL FOR THIS EVENT.**
