The Watertown Area Boxing Club is proud to present the Battle of the Badges 4. Battle of the Badges 4 will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Jefferson Community College in the gymnasium. Doors will open at 5pm and fights begin at 6pm. Tickets for this event will go on sale starting January 5, 2024. This is a USA Boxing Sanctioned Event.
This year the Watertown Area Boxing Club is honored to help raise money in support of Jake's Sunshine Fund and NNYK9s.
Jake's Sunshine Fund is a fund that was created to help families of Gouverneur Correctional Facility dealing with loss and financial burdens of long-term medical issues and/or bereavement. Jake's Sunshine Fund strives to make regular contributions to individuals and support families experiencing illness and/or loss. Jake's Sunshine Fund's mission is to provide small moments of “sunshine” and acts of kindness through gifts to individuals that contribute or directly support families experiencing illness and/or loss.
NNYK9s was established in 2015 to provide financial support to law enforcement K9s who serve or have served communities in Northern New York. A committee was formed, and the fund was created to help with our local law enforcement K9's medical, safety or protection needs that may not be covered by other agencies.
The Watertown Area Boxing Club is donating a portion of the proceeds from our Battle of the Badges 4 to help these two very deserving entities.
